Unit gyms and maintenance shops have one thing in common: equipment gets used hard, every day. This month we feature items that buyers regularly request to set up or refresh these spaces.

For the unit gym

Color training plates, 10–25 kg

Our color training plates come in 10 kg (green), 15 kg (yellow), 20 kg (blue) and 25 kg (red), all at a 450 mm diameter — easy to identify at a glance in a busy gym.

For functional training, fitness sandbags are available in 10, 20 and 30 kg sizes and hold up well to outdoor PT sessions.

Plates and sandbags are heavy to ship in bulk, so let us know the delivery point and whether a loading area is available when you request a quote.

Roman chair

The roman chair (160 × 108–126 cm, 65 kg) supports back extensions and core work. Please note that it ships unassembled and installation is not included.

A wall-mounted fitness timer offers eight modes including interval counts and comes with a remote control and a 220V adaptor — useful for circuit training and timed events.

For the workshop

DeWALT 12V MAX cordless drill kit

The DeWALT 12V MAX 3/8" cordless drill kit (DCD710S2) includes two 1.3Ah Li-ion batteries and a charger, with a keyless chuck and a maximum speed of 1,500 RPM.

For moving heavy loads, pair a heavy-duty platform hand truck rated at 2,000 lbs with adjustable moving and lifting straps.

Facilities with overhead lifting equipment can also source replacement parts such as a compact HBC hoist remote control (FST416 quadrix), operating in the 2.4GHz band with a UL-certified receiver.
